About the role
Provide high level administrative support and coordination for the Visiting Medical Officers Contracts and Senior Medical Officers Arrangements and assist the Medical Services Team as required.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Fulfil the accountabilities of the position in accordance with Metro North HHS values.
- Provide effective coordination of appointment and contract processes by collaborating and communicating with the various medical workforce units across Metro North.
- Consider and assess documentation including addressing any emergent issues and maintenance of an accurate database.
- Manage external and internal relationships effectively, provide high quality support, and act as a key point of contact and resource person for all senior appointments/contracts.
- Work in collaboration with the Advisor – Medical Contracts and Senior Advisor Medical Workforce and Education to ensure alignment of local senior appointment processes with Metro North procedures and effective clinical service delivery.
- Comply with and provide accurate advice in relation to policies and procedures, regulations and standards which impact upon the process of appointments/contracts, including regular reports.
