We're currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a FIFO opportunity on a full-time 2:1 roster. This long-term project is expected to run for 8 to 12 months, offering consistent work and competitive conditions.

Role Overview

Mechanical Fitters will be responsible for the installation and precise alignment of heavy equipment such as transformers, cooling systems, and cable containment structures. Given the frequent use of Franna cranes, a valid rigging ticket is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who also hold welding qualifications.

Mobilisation Date Successful applicants must be available to mobilise to site by October 9th.

Qualifications & experience for Mechanical fitters

Current Drivers Licence

Australian-recognized Mechanical Trade Certificate (Essential)

Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging (Essential)

Welding qualification (Preferred)

High-Risk Licences (Required)

Valid Police Clearance (Required)

Construction White Card (Required)

Strong commitment to safety and adherence to site protocols

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Ability to complete online inductions as required
