About the role

RubberGem is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to join our team in East Rockingham, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and productivity.

What you'll be doing

Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on machinery and plant equipment

Install, adjust, and maintain mechanical components and systems

Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently

Work safely and comply with all WHS procedures and policies

Maintain detailed service records and documentation

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

Trade qualified Fitter (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade)

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing setting

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Flexible and adaptable to work on a variety of tasks and projects
