Our client is seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art workshop in Forrestdale, building high-quality agricultural machinery for Australian farmers.

What you’ll be doing:

Assembling and fitting mechanical components for large-scale agricultural machinery

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and build sheets

Installing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

Fitting gearboxes, pumps, valves, and drive components

Aligning shafts, bearings, and rotating assemblies

Precision fitting, measuring, and torqueing to specification

Assisting with final machine commissioning and quality checks

Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical fit-up issues during builds

Collaborating with fabrication, welding, and electrical teams to complete machine builds

What we’re looking for:

Mechanical fitting trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent)

Previous experience in machinery assembly (agricultural, construction, mining, or heavy equipment ideal)

Ability to work from technical drawings and follow build processes

Sound knowledge of hydraulics, drives, and mechanical systems

Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Team player with strong problem-solving skills
