Ready to make history? You, our spirited adventurer, have the opportunity to join the exhilarating world of RockWire, the very first Via Ferrata Guided Rock Climbing experience in Australia. As a part of the Buller Ski Lift Group's newest venture, we're unlocking a fresh new way to experience the mountain and we need you to help us create unforgettable moments for our guests.

Your Role as a Rock Climbing Guide or Guide Supervisor

Working up at Mt Buller, in a casual capacity, your mission is clear: to lead our guests through the unique Via Ferrata climbing experience, ensuring their safety and creating memories that last a lifetime.

If you're an experienced climber with Top Rope or Abseiling experience, or Single Pitch (preferable), and possess a passion for outdoor education, this is your stage. A valid Victorian Driver's License and Work with Children's check will be required to particpate.

As a Guide Supervisor, you’ll do all that and more, with regular availability, you'll be at the helm, overseeing our operations and guiding team in the Via Ferrata division.

Your role is pivotal, ensuring exceptional outdoor adventures with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction. You'll collaborate, support, and inspire our guides, ensuring smooth operations and unforgettable experiences. We are looking for someone to start straight away to assist with the construction along the beautiful ridgeline of our mountain.

Making the Magic Happen

Guides: Lead guests through the very first Australian Via Ferrata experience, sharing your passion for climbing, nature, and education. Safety and enthusiasm are your tools to craft unforgettable adventures.

Guide Supervisor: Be the leader of leaders. Collaborate with our scheduling team, maintain equipment, and ensure seamless logistics for school and group bookings. Your role is to inspire and support our guiding team, ensuring every guest has a transformative experience.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Top Rope and Abseil Guide

- Single Pitch Guide or MPG preferred but not necessary

- Remote or Wilderness First Aid and annual CPR refresher

- Valid Working With Victorian Children Check

- Aged 18 or above

- Victorian Driver’s license

- Light ridged vehicle license (preferable)

Will also accept high access ropes qualifications and indoor certification, if experienced in leading outdoor climbing
