About the role
The Learning and Development team within Council’s People and Culture service unit focuses on the just-in-time delivery of people activities and programs to support and facilitate organisational development and change. The Learning and Development Specialist enhances workforce capability by coordinating the design, delivery, and/or evaluation of learning programs. These include mandatory, technical, and leadership development initiatives.

Remuneration
$105,050.92 - $120,890.12 + 12% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in instructional design, learning and development, organisational development or related discipline and/or significant relevant experience in development and instructional design in a diverse organisation
- Proven ability to source, design, develop and implement development programs and evaluation and reporting on effectiveness.
- Demonstrated significant experience in the design and delivery and evaluation of corporate, IT systems, and business development programs including development of e-learning programs.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with senior managers to provide strategic advice and input into employee development goals, including evidence-based recommendations on instructional design approaches that enhance learning outcomes and align with organisational strategy
- Current Class C (minimum) NSW Driver’s Licence
