Your Employer
Our client is a specialist Australian liquid fertiliser company with over 15 years of proven success and a strong commitment to innovation. Operating nationally, they support farms across VIC, NSW and QLD with tailored nutritional solutions — from soil testing to fertigation support. Their Mildura facility serves as the central manufacturing and logistics hub, underpinning a hands-on, fast-paced, and customer-focused operation. With a growth trajectory backed by R&D, digital transformation, and values-driven leadership, the organisation offers outstanding opportunities for career advancement and meaningful impact.
The Role
As Logistics Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end logistics function at the Mildura site, managing inbound raw materials and outbound delivery of finished products to farms — often requiring just-in-time scheduling. This hands-on, relationship-driven role is embedded within the operations team and critical to ensuring timely, seamless service to customers across seasonal cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily logistics operations and transport scheduling (inbound/outbound)
- Maintain strong relationships with freight providers, farmers, agronomists, and field reps
- Optimise planning, dispatch, and coordination during seasonal peaks
- Support digital transformation of logistics via ERP and workflow improvements
- Liaise across teams (production, procurement, dispatch) to ensure smooth execution
- Uphold safety, compliance, and customer service standards
- Lead continuous improvement in logistics performance and systems
About You
You’re a logistics or supply chain professional with the ability to lead, adapt, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced agricultural environment. You're confident managing schedules, people, and systems — and thrive on getting the job done right, especially during seasonal pressure.

- Strong planning and scheduling ability for freight coordination
- Excellent stakeholder communication across internal and external partners
- Solid Excel skills and ERP adaptability
- High learning agility and openness to digital systems
- Resilience, customer focus, and ability to deliver under pressure
Desirable:
- HR truck or forklift licence
- Compliance, HSE, or dispatch/factory support background
- Experience in agriculture or seasonal business environments
- Exposure to system rollouts or workflow automation
The Benefits:
This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a growing business — with influence, autonomy, and progression.
- $120,000 – $130,000 + super + discretionary performance bonuses
- Full-time permanent | On-site in Mildura | Standard hours + seasonal flex
- Drive change and systems during a national scale-up
- Work closely with a supportive, experienced leadership team
- Opportunities to grow with the business in future leadership roles
