Motel Management Team of Two – Kingsway Motel Geelong

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Management Team of Two to join us in managing the day-to-day operations of our well-established property.

This is a live-in role, best suited to a motivated team of two that revels in providing outstanding guest services whilst ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Guest services and reception: Manage guest check-ins, inquiries, and bookings with professionalism and a warm welcome

Respond to guest reviews and maintain professional, friendly service standards

Revenue management: Monitor and adjust room rates in response to local events in liaison with the owners

Administration: Respond to guest feedback, manage stock orders and inventory, and maintain operational records

Property operations: Recruit, train and oversee housekeeping team, ordering and stocktaking of all linen and towelling requirements, basic room and property maintenance, and grounds upkeep

Compliance and safety: Ensure adherence to Work Health & Safety (WHS), fire regulations, licensing, and essential service requirements

To be successful, you must have:

Proven 2 to 3 years motel management experience (or similar accommodation industry experience)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse range of guests and stakeholders

High level of computer proficiency, including familiarity with Property Management Systems such as GuestPoint, with working knowledge of channel management highly regarded

Experience working with online travel agencies (OTAs), including booking.com and Expedia

Ability to live onsite, work weekends and public holidays

A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Willingness to participate in an online quiz if shortlisted
