Casual Receptionist Needed (casual - 1 day per week + school holidays)

Gold Coast based psychology clinic Mindful Families Australia (check us out here - www.mindfulfamiles.com.au) is seeking a casual receptionist to join our team.

About the Role:

Work hours between 8:30am - 5:30pm one day per week + school holiday shifts offered, and additional days also available if our existing receptionist is away

At least 1 year administration experience essential

Previous psychology/medical/allied health experience an advantage

You will be responsible for reception duties including:

Customer service and care including greeting patients at the front desk in a warm and welcoming manner

Answer phone calls and emails and schedule appointments efficiently

Assist patients with filling out forms and updating their information

Making bookings for psychology sessions

General clerical duties

Patient record management with exceptional data entry skills

Liaising and collaborating with practitioners in an effective manner to ensure smooth patient flow

Medicare, NDIS, Health fund and work cover billing

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

The Skills and Attributes we are looking for are:

Experience in using online practice management software and the capacity to efficiently learn new software programs

Professional, friendly, conscientious and compassionate approach

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Strong work ethic, flexibility, organisational skills, attention to detail a must

Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills

Strong and experienced in computer literacy

Ability to multitask effectively

Ability to cope well under pressure

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required

Willingness to take initiative

Ability to effectively collaborate with the admin team and complete designated tasks
