Pão is seeking a passionate casual Barista / All rounder to join the team in Wetherill Park, NSW.

A good barista is so important! Coffee is lifeblood, and we want someone to help us prepare amazing beverages with a smile.

What you'll be doing

Preparing a range of coffee drinks to the highest standard, including espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and specialty coffee creations

Providing excellent customer service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all customers

Maintaining a clean and well-organised work station, ensuring equipment is in optimal condition

Chipping in to help with food prep / customer service / inventory management where required

Collaborating with the wider team to contribute to the overall success of the café

What we're looking for

Someone who loves coffee!

Attitude and work ethic is more important than experience.

Friendly, approachable, professional and passionate

Must be available Mon to Wed from 7am to 10am

Attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality coffee beverages

Willing to learn and be part of the team and make the place fun

Young, old, in between. We don't care. As long as you are keen to come on the journey with us

What's a pão?

(pronounced “pow” like the sound of an old school Batman punch)

Pão is a Portuguese word for bread. The Portuguese took bread recipes to Goa in India centuries ago, and Goans have been making delicious fluffy white bread ever since. Goans take the humble bit of bready goodness that is a pão, combine it with European recipes like cotelette/schnitzel or chourico, throw in fragrant Indian spices and make something magical.
