About the Role:
Are you an experienced Business Support Assistant with a strong HR background? We are looking for an experienced Support Assistant to join our People and Culture team for a 10 week assignment. Come and join our People and Culture team as our Business Support Assistant!
About Us:
Adventist Senior Living is a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (Northern NSW conference) seeking to enhance the physical, spiritual, social and emotional wellbeing of older Australians through Christ centred care. The organisation has three service offerings being residential aged care, home care and independent living and are supported by a centralised corporate team across the Lake Macquarie region and Northern NSW.
A key member of the People and Culture team, the role reports to and works closely with the General Manager People & Culture and contributes to the success of the People & Culture teams business objectives. The team provides centralised services and support, including workforce design and planning, education and development, talent management, workplace health safety and wellbeing, volunteer co-ordination, employee relations and engagement support and compliance.

About you and the role:
You are a motivated and experienced Business Support Officer ideally with a background in Human Resources and a working style that is pro-active and self-motivated.
In this role you will be working with and supporting the General Manager People and Culture in various projects such as policies and procedures, reward and recognition, performance appraisals and management, training co-ordination and internal communications.
Essentials for this role:
· Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within a Human Resource environment
· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
· NDIS Workers Screen Check or willing to obtain or current police check
· Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment
