Position in a nut shell:

As the Commercial Account Manager, you will be the forefront of the business, primarily targeting contractors and some smaller architects on commercial, hospo, education and health projects. This will be a field-based position that requires someone who is able and willing to work remotely with a locally based State Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Focus on the maintenance of existing customer base as well as documenting a clear business development plan through management of Client activities and the implementation of agreed company strategies

Identify opportunities that will lead to new sales, with a focus on upcoming education, health, multi-res, hotel and commercial projects

Utilizing your network of Builders, Architects & Designers and Flooring Contractors to influence with our clients new rage

Drive communication of projects in conjunction with the Specification and Business development team to ensure increasing conversion rates

Leverage internal tools for project tracking and information

Represent the brand at industry functions & entertain clients in social forums

Provide market feedback for input into further product development

Ideal Experience:

Proven field sales experience, specifically from within the building & construction industry

Relationships with leading Contractors, Builders, Architects or Designers across the State

Experience in winning business across commercial, health, hospitality and/or education projects

Stable career history

Hunter mentality

CRM savvy

Ambitious, tenacious and driven with a real passion for delivering beyond the client's expectations

Based Gold Coast or South / West Brisbane to cover that area (occasional regional trip)

Candidates that have previously sold tapware, bathrooms, glazing, kitchens, solid surfaces, architectural hardware, benchtops, appliances, blinds, flooring, carpets, rugs, tiles, furniture, acoustics or other high-end interior products would be well regarded
