Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement WHS strategies across all AWA sites.
- Review and improve safety systems, policies, and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards through proactive analysis.
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Deliver engaging WHS training and promote a strong safety culture.
- Manage injury and workers’ compensation processes.
- Collaborate with external WHS partners to stay ahead of best practices.
About You
- 3 years’ experience in Work, Health, and Safety.
- Knowledgeable in WHS legislation and risk management.
- Eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful contribution.
- A great communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and WHS reporting systems.
- Passionate about creating safe, inclusive workplaces.
- Experience in aged care, health, disability, or community services and familiarity with incident management systems are highly regarded.
