We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to help lead our operations and deliver exceptional service across our restaurant, bars, gaming, and events.

About the Role

As Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Club, ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional service throughout all areas.

This is a hands-on leadership role, best suited to someone who leads by example, thrives under pressure, and has a genuine passion for hospitality and team development.

You will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating shift operations, maintaining compliance, and helping to create memorable experiences for both members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across the Club’s bar, bistro, gaming, and event spaces

Lead and support team members with training, coaching, and on-shift supervision

Maintain high standards of service, compliance (RSA/RCG), and safety (WHS)

Open and close the venue, including cash handling and daily banking

Provide hands-on support across all service areas as needed

Manage stock control and cellar operations

Support the planning and delivery of functions and events

Identify and suggest opportunities for service or operational improvements.

About You

You’ll be someone who:

Has proven experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role

Demonstrates excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Can lead, motivate, and develop teams to deliver exceptional service

Maintains a professional appearance and leads by example

Is available to work nights, weekends, and rotating shifts as required

Has a strong understanding of licensed venue operations, including gaming, food and beverage, and compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

Current NSW RSA & RCG (Advanced RCG accreditation desirable)

Certificate IV in Hospitality (essential)

Diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred or willingness to complete)

Solid understanding of WHS, compliance, and gaming regulations

Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills
