What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Diploma in Library and Information Services, Bachelor of Information Studies or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a library or information centre.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
• A strong understanding of library systems and an interest in technology.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

General Role Responsibilities

• Assisting with general library inquiries and locating resources.
• Processing new books and other library materials.
• Managing circulation desks, including check-ins, check-outs, and returns.
• Create and maintain catalogue records.
• Helping to maintain the library's collection and ensuring shelves are tidy and organised.
• Supporting library programs and events.
