This is a key role in the business – you’ll be working closely with the directors (who are very hands-on) and overseeing several teams working across Canberra and occasionally outside the region.

A bit about the job:

We’ve always got multiple projects at the same time so we need someone who’s organised, calm under pressure, and can roll with the punches. Every day brings something different – you’ll need to be flexible, think on your feet, and enjoy the challenge of making things happen.

You’ll be responsible for:

Managing multiple jobs and teams at once

Coordinate resources across sites — labour, materials, equipment

Planning, scheduling, and coordinating work on-site

Making sure jobs run on time, within budget, and to a high standard

Being the go-to person for staff, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Keeping an eye on WHS and making sure sites are safe

Solving problems as they pop up – and they will!

Supporting and guiding team leaders and crew members

Occasionally travelling to jobs outside of Canberra

What we’re looking for:

Solid experience in an operations or site management role (ideally in construction or remedial work)

Great leadership and people skills – you’re approachable, fair, and know how to get the best out of a team

Strong planning and organisational abilities – you're across the details

Someone who’s easy-going, practical, calm under pressure and doesn’t get rattled easily

We're after someone who’s keen to jump in and help us fine-tune the way we do things — looking at how we can work more efficiently and helping put some solid systems in place so things run smoothly across all our jobs. We've expanded at a fast rate & need to tidy up processes to make things run more efficiently. You need to be up for the challenge 💪🏼

A current driver’s licence, white card, asbestos, confined spaces, silica certificate, any relevant tickets are an added bonus
