About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and drive excellence across our solar, electrical, and air conditioning divisions. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage project delivery, optimise resources, and ensure every job is completed to the highest standards.

In this role you will:

Lead and manage teams across multiple sites (leading hands/installers/apprentices)

Plan, schedule, and coordinate projects for timely, cost-efficient delivery

Ensure strict quality control, safety compliance, and industry best practices

Oversee budgets, procurement, and resource management

Implement process improvements that boost efficiency and customer satisfaction

Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

Mentor, train, and develop staff to create a high-performing team

Report on operational performance, KPIs, and financial outcomes

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in solar, electrical, HVAC or similar

Technical knowledge of solar, electrical and/or HVAC systems (licences/CEC accreditation highly regarded)

Strong leadership and people management skills

Experience in project management, scheduling, and cost control

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work well under pressure
