About the role

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the FM Team in the daily operations of properties across a state wide portfolio. This position involves assisting with routine maintenance, supporting tenant communications, monitoring service delivery, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Working closely with Senior Facilities Managers, you will help maintain the overall condition and presentation of assets, support risk management, and contribute to efficient, cost-effective services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist Senior Facilities Managers in overseeing day-to-day operations, including repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular inspections of critical areas (car parks, basements, service roads, etc.) and coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Investigate and resolve tenant maintenance issues, create work orders, and communicate progress.
  • Coordinate and monitor preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring documentation and compliance.
  • Manage contractor inductions, documentation, and compliance with site safety and WH&S procedures.

About you

To be successful in this role, it is essential to have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on tenant service.
  • Good organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
  • A strong willingness to learn about building services, technical documents, and compliance.
  • Prior experience within building management such as Concierge, Help Desk Support or Customer Service would be highly desirable
