About the role

Kincumber Quarry is seeking an experienced Sandstone Quarry Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Kincumber, NSW-based quarry. This is a full-time position based on-site, responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our sandstone quarrying business.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise quarry productivity and efficiency

Grow the sales of our quarry products with brining on new clients too purchase products

Managing any EPA requirements

Manage all aspects of quarry operations, including production, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance

Lead and motivate a team of quarry technicians, operators, and support staff

Analyse market trends and customer requirements to inform product development and pricing strategies

Ensure strict adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Report on key performance metrics and provide recommendations to senior management

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in a senior quarry management role, preferably in the sandstone mining industry

Must have a contact list of clients who can buy our product straight away

Thorough understanding of quarry operations, including extraction, processing, and logistics

Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental sustainability

Tertiary qualifications in mining engineering, geology, or a related field would be highly regarded
