ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Project Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting site construction and installation activities. You’ll establish and manage QA/QC programs, review civil design deliverables, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:

Coordinate and prepare site QA/QC plans and procedures.

Conduct site inspections and participate in acceptance testing for civil engineering packages.

Review IFC drawings and prepare statements of work for tendering packages.

Liaise with suppliers to resolve construction/installation issues and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Lead and participate in QA/QC inspections and provide technical oversight on rectifications.

Maintain accurate reporting on construction and installation activities.

Apply civil engineering principles to ensure projects meet design and legislative requirements.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Current, unencumbered C Class WA Driver’s Licence.

At least 5 years of mine site construction/installation experience.

Demonstrated experience in QA/QC, MDR, and technical documentation.

Strong knowledge of AS standards and mining-related legislation in WA.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and provide technical solutions.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and provide clear assessments.
