On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in renewable construction projects, heavy lift operations, and contractor management to join their team on site on a 12 month contract. This is a FIFO position.

Description

• Lead planning and execution of assigned mechanical work packages on site
• Manage contract deliverables, reviewing contractor mechanical project documents and management plans
• Respond to technical queries promptly and provide practical mechanical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve mechanical engineering issues, recommending best practice solutions.

Profile

• Previous experience in mechanical engineering/project delivery in site based roles
• Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Prior experience in heavy lifting/erection and installation
• Previous construction experience within the renewables sector highly regarded
• Minimum full working rights is required for this position
