About the Role

We’re seeking a Assistant Fleet Manager to oversee our accident replacement rental car operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be responsible for managing vehicle allocations, analysing rental rates, interpreting vehicle assessments, liaising with clients, and ensuring our fleet operations run efficiently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse rental rates and vehicle utilisation

Oversee day-to-day fleet operations including allocation, maintenance, and turnover

Interpret and review vehicle assessments to determine suitability

Liaise with clients, insurers, and repairers to ensure smooth rental processes

Maintain accurate records and reports using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

About You

Background in management, preferably within a mainstream rental car company

Strong understanding of rental rates, vehicle makes and models

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software

Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and client service skills

Ability to read and interpret vehicle assessments and apply sound judgement

Efficient, organised, and able to work under pressure
