HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of APS5 level Property Officer on behalf of our client, located in Newcastle, NSW. About the Role
As an APS5 level Property Officer, you will play a key role in managing property and corporate operations to support organisational objectives. This position involves independent decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and providing advice based on policy and legislation. You will be based onsite at the Newcastle office and will contribute to efficient business services across multiple locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging and monitoring third-party providers for property and corporate services.
- Responding to staff enquiries regarding property and corporate operations.
- Supporting team planning, task allocation, and monitoring activities.
- Managing stationery, consumables, carpark ballots, and fleet vehicles.
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Providing support for fleet, mail, and other operational services.

About You

We are looking for candidates who have:
- Proven ability to organise workflow and make independent decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to provide advice based on policy and legislation.
- Experience handling moderately complex to complex enquiries.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Availability to attend the Newcastle office at least 4 days per week.
Desirable:
- Experience in property or corporate services settings.
