About the business and the role

Statewide has been operating in WA for over 12 years and are specialist in shopfront and site hoardings, commercial strip outs and building maintenance working in the retail, construction and commercial property market.

They work in shopping centres, commercial buildings, airports, hotels, casinos and building sites across Western Australia.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring materials are handled with care.

Receive, check, and store deliveries of timber, panels, tools, and hardware.

Pick and prepare equipment, carpentry tools, and hoarding materials for site crews.

Organise and stage loads so carpenters can quickly access what they need for hoarding installations.

Maintain the warehouse in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.

Conduct basic checks on tools and equipment before dispatch to ensure they are in working order.

Assist with stock control by recording and reporting inventory levels.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment as required (if licensed).

Skills and experience

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or trade support role.

Ability to safely load and unload trucks, including manual handling of timber, panels, and construction materials.

Basic carpentry knowledge or hands-on experience working with tools, timber, or construction equipment.

Strong organisational skills to prepare and stage equipment for site crews.

Forklift licence (highly regarded) and experience operating pallet jacks or similar equipment.

Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and handling tasks.

Attention to detail when checking tools, equipment, and materials before dispatch.

Essential requirements

Current Police Clearance

Start within a week after successful paid trial

Own Vehicle and current WA manual drivers license
