Delivery Lead (Mergers & Acquisitions)
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Delivery Lead with a knack for navigating complex, post-deal environments, with proven experience in the financial services, technology or consultancy sectors.
- Melbourne CBD, hybrid
- $1150 - $1250 p/d Inc Super (based on experience)
- ASAP start, 9–12-month contract

ROLE
In this role, you'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of post-deal activities. You'll lead and coordinate multiple workstreams, providing the structure, governance, and oversight needed to ensure every condition subsequent is satisfied and all product commitments are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Your work will directly support key business outcomes, and you'll have a direct line of sight to senior leadership, including the Board. This role reports into C-level and the PMO lead.
As the central point of contact, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of post-deal activities, from the initial mobilisation to the final delivery. You will take the lead in driving the execution of all contractual and regulatory obligations, ensuring everything is completed on time.
You will also be a key leader in establishing and maintaining robust governance, reporting, and communication frameworks. A crucial part of your role is to collaborate closely with all functional leads, from legal to technology, to remove roadblocks and ensure a smooth, seamless workflow.
ABOUT YOU
- A seasoned professional with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-stream programmes in post-deal or M&A contexts.
- An expert in delivery, with deep knowledge of governance, risk management, and various delivery frameworks.
- Highly skilled in managing contractual conditions obligations.
- An exceptional communicator and stakeholder manager, comfortable and effective in reporting to C-level executives.
- You possess the unique ability to think strategically while also diving into the details of day-to-day delivery.
- Experience in the financial services or technology sectors.
- Previous consultancy experience is highly regarded
