Position summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to deliver improved governance and oversight of our university frameworks for institutes, centres, subsidiaries and research equity interests. This is a new position and a unique opportunity to work with outstanding research leaders at a whole-of-organisation strategic level.
Our ideal candidate:
- Connects people and ideas, ensuring that the University's governance frameworks, policies, and administrative practices are set up to grow and facilitate interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary collaborations and impact.
- Has experience providing strategic advice to executive leaders on governance and management across a portfolio of activities, including planning and coordination of budget processes and reviews.
- Works in a highly collegial, effective and transparent way with a variety of stakeholders.
- Deeply understands the University's national mission and purpose, and can deliver the frameworks and partnerships that will increase the societal impact of our activities.
