This internal role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and learning hands-on.

There is also a sales position up for grabs if you feel you want to get off the tools and head in this direction.

What you'll be doing

• Create and run programs for our new Bystronic Xpert Pro Press Brake and laser.
• Learn how to operate the press brake and laser so you know exactly what it can and can't do.
• Process parts from Solidworks into bending programs and nesting plans.
• Organise and order raw materials, and prepare job boxes ready for production.
• Liaise with customers on their models, drawings, and orders, giving practical feedback for manufacture.
• Assist with scheduling and ensure everything is lined up for production to run smoothly.
• Shift work, negotiable.

What we're looking for

• Strong interest in sheetmetal, fabrication, or engineering.
• Comfortable learning both the software side (programming) and the hands-on side (machine operation).
• Solid communication skills for working with the internal team and customers.
• Previous experience with CAD (Solidworks or similar) is highly regarded.
