Driven by an organisational restructure to focus on their customers, a new mechanical project engineer / detailer position has been created. If you are 3 - 5 years post completion of your Bachelor's degree and looking for that new challenge, this could be the role for you. Your role

• Work with customers and external stakeholders to translate customer needs into engineering requirements
• Develop and implement plans to support delivery of high quality of event from internal team and cost, timing and quality in support of external customer satisfaction.
• Be able to jump in and support the technical team if issues arise
• Work with manufacturing to resolve any technical manufacturing issues on the product
• Support the customer in all elements of the product cycle

About you

• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree qualification in mechanical engineer recognised by Engineers Australia
• A minimum of 3 years post graduation working in a mechanical design role governed by the Australian Standards AS41000, AS4600 and AS1170.2
• A demonstrated orientation to thrive in a customer facing technical role
• Great project management and priority setting skills to deliver in an environment of multiple smaller projects rather than a single large one.
• Personality to thrive in a respectful, calm considered team environment.
• Australian driver's license
