About the role

Alfa Bakehouse is seeking a experienced Front of House professional to join our team in Yarraville. As a cafe, we are looking for an individual who will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This is a full-time position, 5.30am to 2.00pm offering an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing business.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and efficient counter service, taking customer orders and processing payments

Ensuring a clean, tidy and well-stocked service area at all times

Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as needed

Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and attentive service

Communicating with the wider team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience

Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the hospitality or retail industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service

Reliable, punctual and well-presented with a positive attitude

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure

A keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task effectively

A genuine passion for food and providing a great customer experience
