Qualifications & Experience

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence and embodies the right attitude to thrive in our practice. You’ll ideally have:

• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or a willingness to undertake a traineeship to achieve this qualification).

• Full working rights in Australia.

• A highly professional demeanor with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• A reliable, punctual, and proactive approach, with a can-do attitude that inspires others.

Tasks & Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant at Gentle Dental Hervey Bay, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our practice’s smooth operation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside clinical assistance to our dentists, ensuring a seamless patient experience.

• Managing sterilization processes to maintain our high standards of hygiene and safety.

• Educating patients with oral health advice, empowering them to achieve confident smiles.

• Supporting stock management to keep our clinic running efficiently.

• Performing general cleaning and maintenance to ensure a welcoming environment.

• Assisting with reception duties as needed, showcasing your versatility and team spirit.

• Undertaking other reasonable tasks to support the practice’s success.
