About the role

Seng's Sales and Service is seeking an experienced, skilled Mechanic - Service Technician to join our dynamic team in BUNDABERG, Queensland. As a Mechanic - Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of machines, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair various mechanical issues in a range of agricultural machines.

Perform routine maintenance services on a variety of agricultural equipment.

Use diagnostic equipment and tools to fault find and identify and resolve mechanical problems both in workshop and in the field.

Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed of the status of their machines.

Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Ensure the workshop is kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic or Automotive/Motorcycle Service Technician. Trade Qualification is not mandatory but desirable. Experience within the Agricultural repair industry is essential. Seng's welcome current Apprentices who are looking for a change to grow their skills at an experienced dealership.

Non-trade qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of agricultural machinery experience.

Good knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and repairing a variety of machine makes and models would be desirable but not essential. In house training and support will be provided by Seng's to grow your skills in diagnostics.

Some exposure in using diagnostic equipment and tools.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Being keen to learn and understand electrical and hydraulic systems in various machines is essential.

Exceptional customer service orientation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team is mandatory.
