$76,515 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Responsibilities

Prepare, repair and finish surfaces including plasterboard, render, brickwork and timber.

Apply paint, stains, varnishes and protective coatings using brush, roller and spray methods.

Install feature mouldings, hang wallpaper and carry out minor tiling or glazing repairs as needed.

Perform scheduled maintenance touch-ups and rectification work on new homes.

Safely set up work areas, including scaffolding, ladders and protective coverings.

Maintain tools, equipment and materials, ensuring workspaces are clean and organised.

Contribute to team briefings and share ideas for improving processes and outcomes.

Skills and Experience Required

Certificate III in Painting and Decorating

Minimum 1-year full time experience as a painter

Have a keen eye for detail

Competence in using power tools as required

Ability to recognise and solve service/maintenance problems

Demonstrated skills as a qualified painter

The experience to complete assigned tasks on time and to a higher quality

Computer literate, able to read plans and colour selection documents

Current drivers’ licence.
