About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Waitress/Front Staff to join the team at An Indian Affair in Armidale, NSW. This is a casual role that will see you at the heart of the restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all our customers.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming customers upon arrival

Taking food and drink orders, and communicating these accurately to the kitchen

Delivering food and drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner

Clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining a clean and tidy dining area

Providing recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance the customer experience

Processing payments and operating the cash register

Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the hospitality industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and attentive service

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment

A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Knowledge of food and beverage service, including basic food safety and hygiene practices

Applicant must hold a current RSA
