IMPACT Community Services is proud to announce our successful partnership with CoAct under the Inclusive Employment Australia program. This transformative 5-year initiative will empower the Agnes Water community through inclusive employment solutions.
We are seeking a passionate, driven professional to join our team as an Employment Support Consultant. You will be based at our IMPACT Community Health Service located in Agnes Water. In this newly created role, you will connect people with disabilities to employment by promoting services and building strong community relationships.
What you will be doing:
Prospect Caseload & Client Support, manage prospective client enquiries, guide them through eligibility, and provide ongoing support and follow-up. Maintain accurate records in JobReady, documenting interactions and tracking progress. Assist clients in gathering medical evidence, facilitate ESAt referrals, and send appointment reminders.
Community & Employer Engagement, represent the organisation at job fairs, expos, and employment events to promote services and attract clients. Proactively engage employers and clients through in-house initiatives when external events are limited.
Social & Community Supports, facilitate access to social support services such as food banks, medical center's, and allied health providers. Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers to ensure timely and appropriate client support.
What you'll need to succeed:
A passion for inclusive employment and a genuine commitment to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds
Relevant experience in employment services, community engagement, recruitment, or workforce development
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you’ll be working with people from all walks of life
Proven ability to build relationships with job seekers, employers, and community stakeholders
Adaptability and initiative – this is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation is encouraged
Understanding of local labour markets and barriers to employment in regional communities.
A current driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as required
