The Role

As the Infrastructure Lead, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance and delivery of IT operations across all sites nationally. This hands-on leadership role is central to ensuring the resilience, security, and scalability of the organisation’s IT environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading enterprise-wide network infrastructure design, delivery, and support (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, wireless, firewalls, data centre connectivity);
• Driving operational excellence in line with ITIL best practices;
• Managing team performance and mentoring technical staff in a 24/7 environment;
• Proactively monitoring, resolving, and reporting on network performance;
• Managing vendor relationships and SLAs;
• Supporting infrastructure projects (expansions, migrations, upgrades);
• Ensuring systems align with enterprise security and cloud strategies; and
• Presenting operational insights and performance metrics to IT leadership.

About You

You’re a technically strong and people-focused IT leader with proven experience in large, multi-site enterprise environments. You bring a mix of strategic oversight and hands-on capability, with the ability to lead teams while staying close to the technology.

Your background includes:

• 10+ years' experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or networking;
• Deep technical knowledge of networking protocols;
• Experience with platforms such as Cisco, HPE/Aruba;
• Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL frameworks;
• Confident communicator able to bridge technical and business discussions;
• Industry certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP, Azure/AWS; and
• Exposure to security and compliance standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2).
