Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Day Surgery Unit
• Provide high-level clinical leadership, maintaining standards of care and patient safety
• Foster a positive, professional team culture aligned with organisational values
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the ongoing performance of the unit
• Collaborate closely with the perioperative team, including theatres at the main hospital campus, as required

Ideal Candidate:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in public or private health
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience in a perioperative or surgical environment
• Strong communication, organisational, and team management skills
• Passionate about delivering safe, high-quality patient care
