HOBAN Recruitment is seeking up to four proactive and customer-focused aps 3 level Call Centre Operators located in BELCONNEN, to support the launch of an important Australian Government initiative, the SMS SenderID Register.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to the public via the Customer Service Centre. Using a range of communication channels, you will respond to enquiries, assess the nature of each request, and determine the most appropriate action-resolving where possible or escalating when needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing responsive and professional customer service across multiple channels: phone, email, web forms, fax, and mail
- Assessing and triaging enquiries to determine if they fall within scope
- Escalating complex enquiries to the appropriate internal teams
- Delivering general administrative support as required
- Maintaining accurate records and following set procedures and guidelines

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll be someone who thrives in a customer service environment and is confident managing a high volume of enquiries across different communication channels.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to assess and triage customer enquiries accurately
- Confidence using various systems and following detailed procedures
- High attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude
