About the opportunity
This is an exciting chance for a motivated Senior Town Planner to join a boutique yet highly regarded planning consultancy in Brisbane. You’ll work with a close knit team of professionals who are trusted advisors to developers, landowners, and property groups across SEQ.

The firm’s projects range from complex residential subdivisions through to commercial and mixed-use developments. Their reputation is built on practical, commercially focused planning advice that balances client outcomes with high-quality urban environments.

What you’ll be doing

Leading statutory and strategic planning assessments for a variety of private clients

Preparing development applications, impact assessments, and planning reports

Providing clear, solution-focused advice to clients, councils, and referral agencies

Managing client relationships and contributing to business development where appropriate

Supporting junior planners and contributing to the collaborative team culture

What we’re looking for

5–10 years’ planning experience within consultancy or local government

Strong knowledge of Queensland planning frameworks and development assessment processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A proactive, commercially minded approach to problem solving

Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or related field
