Are you an experienced estimator with a background in building construction and maintenance? Join a dynamic team within QLD Government, based in Mt Isa where your skills in scoping, quoting, and tendering will directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope and prepare accurate estimates and quotations for building works.
• Produce high-quality tender documentation in line with industry best practices.
• Develop material lists, trade packages, and construction programs.Ensure compliance with relevant purchasing policies, contract methods, and project requirements.
• Use estimating software to maintain consistency and accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement in estimating and contract administration practices.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in estimating and scoping building projects.
• Strong computer literacy and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of building construction principles and contract procedures.
• Familiarity with legislative and regulatory requirements in the construction industry.
• Current QLD Open Driver's Licence.
• General Safety Induction Card (White Card).
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and planning.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
