The Role:
Opportunities exist for experienced Patient Support Services Assistants to join our Support Services Team on a Casual basis, at Broadmeadows Hospital and Bundoora Centre. We are looking for reliable individuals who will demonstrate exemplary communication skills, a positive attitude, as well as a friendly and professional manner.
The successful applicant will possess and demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Ability to communicate with patients, other members of staff and members of the public with empathy and an appreciation of confidentiality
- Previous experience in the operation of commercial cleaning equipment
- Understanding of infection control cleaning processes within a healthcare environment
- Deliver excellent cleaning standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- The ability to plan and prioritise tasks
