We are a growing, locally owned civil construction company delivering high-quality infrastructure, earthworks, and drainage projects across the Northern Rivers region. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we’re looking to expand our skilled team.

The Role:
We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Excavator and Machine Operator to join our team. You’ll be working across a variety of civil projects, including drainage, trenching, bulk earthworks, and detailed excavation.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values safety, and is confident in operating excavators of various sizes, as well as Graders, Loaders. HR Licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate excavators for civil construction tasks (trenching, battering, detailed digging, final trimming, lifting, etc.)

Assist with setting out and understanding site plans/levels

Work around live services with care and attention

Daily machine prestart checks and basic maintenance

Support the crew when required in general site duties

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience operating heavy machines in civil construction

Confidence operating around services and in tight spaces

Current Excavator ticket and White Card

HR licence and other plant tickets (advantageous)

Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Reliability, a positive attitude, and good communication
