About the role:

Turner Piling Systems is seeking a full-time Excavator Operator - Screw Pile Installer to join our team in Balmain. As a Screw Pile Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of screw piles using excavators from 1.7 tonne up to 23 tonne, playing a crucial role in our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating excavators and directing a ground labourer to install screw piles on construction sites

Trimming piles with oxy-acetylene

Ensuring the proper placement and alignment of screw piles according to project specifications

Monitoring the maintenance and performance of the excavators, drive motors and other screw pile installation equipment

Ensuring the correct product & equipment are on site

Maintaining accurate records of installation activities and materials used

Collaborating with the construction team to address any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process

Adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

Extensive experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in the screw piling industry, with a strong understanding of the installation procedures & techniques

Proficient in the operation and maintenance of excavators and other construction equipment

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to specifications

Accurate record keeping

Liaising with other trades and site managers

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Valid Excavator Operator Ticket and a valid driver's licence.
