We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist who enjoys working in a dual role, supporting both the clinical and front office areas of our modern family practice. This position is ideal for someone who is flexible, organised, and enjoys being part of a caring, professional team. Previous dental assisting or reception experience is preferred but not essential - training provided.

You’ll play a key role in helping our patients feel comfortable and cared for while also ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice.

Position details:

Casual role 2–3 days per week plus holiday cover

MUST be available but not limited to:

Mondays: 8:00am – 6:30pm

Wednesdays: 8:00am – 5:30pm

Some Fridays: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Above award pay - based on experience

Free undercover parking on site

Convenient public transport with buses stopping directly outside the clinic

No late nights or weekends

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assisting during a wide range of dental procedures

Patient care before, during, and after treatment

Infection control and sterilisation procedures

Preparing and maintaining dental equipment and treatment rooms

Greeting patients and managing appointment bookings

Processing payments and handling accounts

Answering phone calls and managing enquiries

Supporting the team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic
