About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer (RPEQ) with a collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset. The role requires someone who thrives in a team environment, embraces continuous improvement, and is confident in leading design teams and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving the design and delivery of major turnkey electrical solutions
• Leading and mentoring junior engineers and designers
• Reviewing, signing off, and ensuring compliance of designs and deliverables
• Managing budgets, timelines, and project deliverables
• Partnering with internal teams (estimating, design, production) for project success
• Maintaining awareness of relevant electrical safety standards, legislation, and policies

Requirements to succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• RPEQ accreditation (with experience supervising engineers under RPEQ)
• 5+ years’ experience in project electrical design and delivery, preferably with switchgear projects
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical legislation (LV & HV equipment)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and specialised design toolsets
• Experience in Power System Analysis
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build strong partnerships
• Unrestricted legal rights to work in Australia
