Brauns & Co is a boutique accounting firm specialising in accounting, taxation and business advisory and that provide a top tier service to our clients
We are currently looking for a part time/casual Administration assistant to join our team for two days per week, or reduced hours over three days (12 – 15 hours per week). We are flexible to suit school hours and holidays for the right person. The successful candidate will work onsite at our office in Camberwell/Hartwell.
About the role
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will provide operational, administrative and accounting support to ensure the efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Organise and maintain electronic and physical files
Assist in distribution of completed tax information to clients
Answering calls as instructed
Attend to inward and outwards mail – paper and electronic
Assist in the preparing and sending written correspondence
Managing of office operations, including ordering supplies and stationery
Monitor client communication with the ATO
Assist with preparing and processing invoices
Assist with Bookkeeping duties for clients
A minimum of 1-2 years bookkeeping experience is required
Skills & Experience
Candidate with experience in a similar role or administration for a business would be highly regarded, along with:
Permanent residency status is required for this position
Client focused with a professional approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
Strong time management skills, organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Experience with MYOB, Xero or quickbooks
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
