About the Position
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the City’s Information Management team in a 2-year Fixed Term, Full Time role as a Records Officer. You will play a key role in ensuring the City’s records (both physical and electronic) are accurately captured, securely stored and effectively maintained throughout their lifecycle while supporting the organisation to meet its information management obligations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Classifying and sentencing records in line with internal procedures and legislative requirements
- Processing, scanning and registering records into the electronic document and records management system (EDRMS)
- Assisting with archiving and the disposal of records
- Providing records management advice and support to staff
About You
Utilising your existing records and information management skills, you will contribute to ensuring the organisation’s records are managed in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice standards, while providing excellent customer service. If you possess the following attributes, we’d love to hear from you:
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Highly developed computer skills
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy while working to tight deadlines
- Excellent organisation / time management skills
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Previous experience working in a records management environment and using an EDRMS
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Salary:
$77,467- $82,766 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
