We are looking for an experienced A Grade Electrician to join this Prominent Manufacturer to work with the maintenance team to ensure efficient running of the site machinery.

The successful applicant must have:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to do Basic to Intermediate PLC Programming is essential

• Some mechanical aptitude to able to hit the ground running

• Desire for longevity with the potential for future growth

• A strong understanding of electrical principles, codes, and safety procedures

• Exposure to PLC within manufacturing operation

• Strong numeracy & literacy skills to ensure accurate record keeping of work performed and parts used

You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair of electrical systems and equipment in the manufacturing plant by troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues to determine the appropriate repairs required. You will also be part of planning & executing projects whereby you may recommend improvements & install or upgrade systems.

You will conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential problems and prevent downtime. You must comply with regulations and safety procedures while collaborating with other maintenance technicians and engineering staff. There may be some requirements to be on call & respond to emergency situations and work outside of regular business hours as required.

PM SHIFT - 2.30pm to 11pm

$57 per hour plus shift allowances

You must have a Current Victorian Police Check (or be willing to get one)
