My Client, are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician with a strong Mechanical Capability to join their team. This will be a mobile based position attending to Clients Fully automated distribution centres around Melbourne. Therefore, you will be provided with a fully equipped company vehicle.

The role
As a skilled Maintenance Electrician with a strong mechanical capability, the role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from breakdowns, general maintenance through to troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work autonomously.
• Strong Fault finding skills
• Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of Plant Equipment.
• Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance.
• Diagnostics and fault finding.
• Process improvement of plant and equipment.
• Screw and belt conveyors.
• Pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Operate & Service Machinery.
• Provide technical support to the production team.
• Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines.

Experience:

• Trade Qualified Electrician (A Grade) with a minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a similar role in FMCG MAINTENANCE OR Automated DC's.
• Experience using CMMS systems.
• Experienced in fault finding/diagnosis
• Knowledge of automated warehouse machinery is highly desirable.
