Reporting to the Head of HR, This Senior Human Resources Business Partner will manage a team of 2 HR professionals responsible for providing human resources advice and services in learning and development, performance, employee wellbeing, organisational development, HR policies, and employee relations. This opportunity is seeking a strong Manager who can grow a team further.
Key Accountabilities
General:
- In consultation with the HR Manager, lead the end-to-end review and implementation of HR strategies, programs and policies
- Co-manage the staff culture survey, including analysis and reporting on findings and action planning.
- Develop and implement wellbeing strategies that align to the Wellbeing Framework and oversee the employee assistance program (EAP)
- Support the resolution of workplace issues, including complaints, grievances, disciplinary and underperformance matters, in collaboration with the team.
- In collaboration with the Manager, identify and analyse HR emerging issues, data and statistics, metrics and trends to present on.
- Lead, inspire, motivate and develop staff to deliver business outcomes
- Other duties as required
Learning and Training:
- Act as a business partner to the leadership team on key organisational development and leadership initiatives
- Manage the design, development and effective delivery of core training ensuring that processes for designing training, dealing with scheduling, participant tracking, participant engagement and management support are in place.
- Oversee training needs analysis, performance review calibration, leadership development, and professional development programs.
About you:
- 8-10+ years experience in a HRBP position
- Experience with Learning and Development strategies, frameworks and rollout
- Strong team management and mentoring experience
- Worked in a rapid growth and changing environment
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge and understanding of trends, issues and requirements for managing people in the public sector
- Project management experience
