🕒 Hours: Full-time – Monday 9:00am–5:00pm, Tuesday 9:00am–5:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am–4:00pm, Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–4:00pm

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team. You will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk while delivering exceptional service to patients and supporting our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly welcoming patients and managing a busy reception area

Coordinating appointments for GPs and allied health providers

Processing Medicare, DVA, and private health claims

Managing recalls, reminders, and patient correspondence

Accurate data entry and maintaining patient records using Best Practice software

Providing general administrative support to doctors and practice management

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a general practice or allied health setting (essential)

Proficiency with Best Practice software (highly regarded)

Sound knowledge of Medicare billing and general practice processes

Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities

A collaborative, team-oriented attitude
